Our Support Staff

Cassna LaCount

Hospital Director

Cassna joined Village Vet in June 2020, as the Hospital Director. Her goal was to help the clinic, and the clients adapt to the new normal of COVID protocols. Cassna will continue to support the clients, and is continuously seeking ways to improve the client experience at Village Veterinary Hospital.

Cassna’s love of animals started early. As a child, she helped care for various farm animals and pets. She began her veterinary career as a receptionist at a Skagit County veterinary clinic in 2003 and never looked back.

Cassna has three children and four grandchildren. She shares her home with Ren, a 6-year-old, three-legged Basenji mix; Cleo, a 7-year-old feline princess, and Oakley, a 6-year-old hunter cat who is addicted to catnip. In her free time, Cassna enjoys reading and writing fiction novels, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Kaili L.

Customer Service Representative

Kaili joined Village Vet in October 2020. She shares her home with a 1.5-year-old golden retriever named Gecko who loves to swim, do tricks for treats and bark at cows. In her free time, Kaili enjoys taking Gecko to the beach, river and nearby lakes.

Emerald Rose

Customer Service Representative

Emerald studied criminal justice in college but hated it. However, she loved the community service she did for the animal shelter, where she became serious about working in animal care. She joined Village Vet in August 2021.

Emerald has always been a crazy cat girl. She shares her home with Biscuit, a 12-year-old female cat who was found on the edge of Ted Nugent’s property in lower Michigan and Ginsburg, a handsome one-year-old male tabby. In her free time, Emerald is active in women’s groups and likes to read and play PC and Nintendo games.

In her free time, Annie likes to paint and play volleyball with her friends.
