We Go Deeper Advanced diagnostics improve patient care. New Layer Request Appointment A large green, cloud-like shape against a white background resembles the calming aura in a veterinarian's clinic.

Veterinary diagnostics have come a long way in the last few years. Village Veterinary Hospital can run basic, same day blood panels, or send out to our partner laboratory for more extensive tests. We have digital x-rays, and an ultrasound for basic scans. We also work with a traveling veterinarian who comes into our practice and performs in-depth ultrasound exams, eliminating the need for our clients to travel hours to see a specialist. Our goal is to offer the best diagnostics, based on the specific pet needs, guaranteeing the highest quality of care for our patients. A happy dog lies on its back in a lush, green field with its eyes closed and mouth open, showing teeth and tongue. The bright sunlight highlights the dog's content expression surrounded by vibrant leaves, as if just returning from a visit to the vet.

Diagnostic Services

In-house laboratory

A tabby cat with a raised tail looks up at a butterfly hovering above it, embodying the curiosity any vet would cherish. The background features a vibrant, blurred meadow with yellow flowers and warm, golden light.
Our in house lab is furnished with state of the art lab equipment that are able to test internal organ function, immune responses, complete urinalysis and fecal results, as well as artificial intelligence that can give tentative diagnosis on specific cells. +

Radiographs

A Labrador Retriever lies in green grass with its mouth open, displaying a playful and relaxed demeanor, as if just returned from a check-up with the veterinarian. The background is softly blurred, suggesting a sunny outdoor setting.
We offer digital in-house radiography (x-rays). All of our x-ray studies are reviewed first by an AI screening tool, and our veterinarians, and then based on these interpretations every radiograph can be sent to board certified radiologist for their second opinion. +

Ultrasounds

Our veterinarians are able to do brief scans with an in house ultrasound machine. When needed, we have a more specialized veterinarian come to the clinic, to perform a more in depth ultrasound examination. Sedation may also be needed for these procedures. +
